Slow-Paced Trips to the Farthest Points

 

Event description:

This is a package of trips taking you to the lighthouses located at the farthest points in Taiwan: the southernmost Eluanbi Lighthouse, the westernmost Guosheng Port Lighthouse, the easternmost Sandiao Cape Lighthouse, and the northernmost Fugui Cape Lighthouse. You get to enjoy the slow-paced short-distance trips as well as challenge yourself on long-distance rides. Enjoy the beauty and chill out at these four lighthouses.

 

Time of event:

Trip to the southernmost point on June 23rd- Eluanbi Lighthouse

Trip to the northernmost point on July 21st- Fugui Cape Lighthouse

Trip to the westernmost point on September 8th- Guosheng Port Lighthouse

Trip to the easternmost point on September 29th- Sandiao Cape Lighthouse

Trip to the southernmost point on October 13th, Eluanbi Lighthouse

 

 Suitable for:

Slow-paced trips to the farthest points:

A laid-back 20-40 km route suitable for the general public and families. Enjoy the scenery as you slowly ride along.

 

Slow-paced challenges to the farthest points:

A challenging 50-70 km route suitable for cycling lovers.

 

Slow-paced 4+2 to the farthest points:

A package that takes you on a slow-paced bike trip to the lighthouses of the four farthest points in Taiwan in each direction first by car (4 wheels) to designated spots, where you then switch to bikes (2 wheels) and make your way to the destinations. Create a one-of-a-kind 4+2 memory for yourself. Suitable for the general public and families.

 

Slow-paced challenge between two farthest lighthouses in eastern Taiwan:

A super-challenging 398 km route that will take you 3 days and 2 nights to complete. Suitable for cyclists who have previous long-distance ride experiences.

Day 1- Eluanbi Lighthouse- Provincial Highway No.9-Taitung (145 km).

Day 2- Taitung- Provincial Highway No.11- Hualien’s Qilaibi Lighthouse (181 km).

Day 3- Hualien- Take train from Hualien to Suao- Sandiao Cape Lighthouse (72 km).

Northernmost point- Fugui Cape Lighthouse

Highlights:

With the four farthest lighthouses in each direction of Taiwan as destinations, cyclists will enjoy the tasty oysters on the west, have a good cup of coffee on the north coast, take photos at the happy church that often serves as idol movie scene locations on the east, and feel the warmth of the sandy beaches beloved by foreigners at Kenting in the south.
