North Coast Roaming for 2 Days
Since the opening of Tamsui port in 1862, from Tamsui to Taipei's Dadaocheng and Bangka, in addition to the continuous flow of ships carrying goods, it has also brought northern Taiwan to connect with the world and gradually integrated into the world stage. In the process of becoming the capital of Taiwan, it also nurtured A unique humanistic style. This tour is planned to start from Songshan station, and first enter the Xikou Wharf at No. 4 Watergate of Songhe Street, which used to be the Keelung River goods distribution center and the beginning of the cultural development of Songshan Xikou; follow the bicycle path on the left bank of the Keelung River, through the shade of Dajia Riverside Park to Guandu, and then into the colorful town of Tamsui. Go to Tamsui Old Street and taste delicious food, and then follow The Golden Coast of Tamsui trail along the river bank to turn to the coastal Provincial Highway 2, and ride on the most beautiful coastline in northern Taiwan. Since there are many bicycle trails on the north coast, you can follow the directions along the way and you can enter many secret places and popular check-in points. Of course, what you can't miss for this trip is Fugui Cape in the extreme north of Taiwan's mainland. After a wonderful day, rest on the north coast for a night. The next day, when the sun rises from the coastline, head towards Jinshan and Yehliu. Since this area is a stretching branch of Mt. Datun, due to the erosion and weathering of the waves, a variety of peculiar landscapes have been created, such as the Queen's Head and Candlestick Stones in Yehliu Geopark. At the end of the trip, we come to the Waimu Shan Lovers Lake Coastal Boulevard, which is the road between Aodi Village and Waimu Shan Fishing Harbor. The road is the coast on one side and the cliff on the other side. Here, you can accompany the giant ship that will be berthing. Ride into the Keelung Port area and end this classic journey in front of Keelung Station.
