Please read the following before submitting your message:

  1. To verify that you are the legitimate user of the email address you provide and ensure your ability to receive our reply, a confirmation email will be sent automatically after you click “Confirm email address.” The confirmation email contains a link that must be clicked before your submission will be processed. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folder. We will not process your submission without this confirmation step.
  2. The Personal Information Protection Act prohibits the release of personal information to a third party without your consent, unless required for official business. As each government agency has its own jurisdiction and area of expertise, your email may be forwarded to the appropriate competent authority for reply. We will forward your basic information (including name, phone number, street address and email address) along with your message.
  3. To make effective use of government resources, please review your message before sending and confirm the contents. For communication purposes and to help us understand the situation, such as when reporting a violation, please use your real name in your message. Reports containing little or no substance, malicious attacks, and forwarded internet posts and related web addresses of unknown provenance will not be processed. Please be aware that those who submit messages containing illegal content will be held liable under the law.
  4. If there is a need to preserve the confidentiality of your identity or message, then we recommend that you use the postal system for delivery, due to potential risks associated with online exchanges. Please produce a hard copy of your message, enclose it in a sealed envelope marked “CONFIDENTIAL,” and send by standard post to the Executive Yuan at No. 1, Sec. 1, Zhongxiao E. Rd., Zhongzheng Dist., Taipei City 100009, Taiwan (R.O.C.). We will then forward your letter to the appropriate competent authority for processing. This is required by Article 62, Paragraph 2 of the Executive Yuan’s document processing manual.
  5. Unless new information or content is included, we will combine and process together duplicate emails from the same sender. No additional notice will be sent concerning combining submissions.
