Highway 11 Cycling Route

The "Ma Dao Cheng Gong 168 Cycling Tour" is a scenic cycling route stretching from Mahengheng Boulevard to Chenggong Township in Taitung, primarily following Provincial Highway 11. The round-trip distance is approximately 168 kilometers. Cyclists can customize the duration of their journey based on personal preferences. As they cycle along Taiwan’s breathtaking east coast, they can immerse themselves in the beauty of mountains and ocean, embracing the region’s relaxed and romantic atmosphere.

Through a leisurely ride, travelers can experience Taiwan's stunning scenery and create unforgettable memories.

Centered around the Fugui Cape Lighthouse, Taiwan's northernmost point, this event connects the Shuangwan, Wantan, and Wanjin cycling routes with nearby attractions. Partnering with designated stores in the Crown Coast Tourism Circle, it focuses on family-friendly, non-competitive cycling experiences to attract casual riders. Additionally, leader training courses are offered to enhance participants' cycling skills.

Light Up Taiwan-Westernmost Point Guosheng Lighthouse Bike tour

Centered around the Guosheng Port Lighthouse, Taiwan's westernmost point, this event aligns with the "Close to Mountains, Close to the Sea, Enjoy Touring Taiwan" policy, promoting lighthouse tourism through low-carbon travel. It integrates diverse cycling routes with attractions in the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan regions, including the Mountain-Sea Canal Greenway, coastal towns, historical and cultural sites, unique landscapes, local cuisine, and local tourism industries.

101 Hopping Bike

To promote autumn tourism and diverse cycling routes in Penghu, the "101 Hopping Bike" features two routes:\ a 101K challenge group and a 22K leisure group. The course passes through Shili Beach, the Penghu Great Bridge, the Daguoye Columnar Basalt area, and the Erkan Historic Village, allowing cyclists to experience both cultural and natural landscapes. Along the way, riders can not only test their limits but also enjoy Penghu’s most renowned scenery, culture, and local delicacies.

Siraya 5 Cool

The Siraya National Scenic Area is home to Taiwan’s highest concentration of reservoirs. These include the Zengwen Reservoir, the largest in Taiwan; the Wushantou Reservoir, known as the “Coral Lake”; the Hutoupi Reservoir, Taiwan’s first reservoir; the Jianshanpi Reservoir, an award-winning recreational destination; and the Baihe Reservoir, newly revitalized by Mountain-Sea Love at the end of 2024. Situated within the Shanhai-Zun National Greenway (the Grand Irrigation Route), this region boasts rolling lowland landscapes and the Jianan Irrigation System. This event follows the 5COOL cycling route, allowing participants to explore the unique beauty of Siraya through an immersive riding experience.

Taiwan KOM Challenge

Due to road disruption in Taroko caused by the April 3, 2024 earthquake, the original route from Hualien's Qixingtan Coast to Wuling has been adjusted. After evaluation by the organizer, the challenge route will now start from the Cilan Forest Recreation Area in Yilan and end at Wuling, covering a distance of 111 kilometers. This route offers cyclists a demanding mountain climb challenge with significant elevation changes. To allow the public to experience the thrill of a mountain ascent, the event also includes the Taiwan KOM E-Bike Tour. This segment, separate from the main challenge, allows participants to take on the KOM ascent using e-bikes, promoting greater accessibility to the challenge experience.

Promoting the Dapeng Bay Bike Tour 35, this initiative continues to advance energy-efficient, low-carbon tourism. It integrates the region’s rich wetland ecosystems, safe and exciting water activities, and Donggang’s unique culture and cuisine. By connecting local industries and cultural events, it drives development within the area.

By integrating diverse cycling routes around the lake with the unique tourism features of the Sun Moon Lake Tourism Circle, this initiative plans a series of events, including classic cycling tours, the Sun Moon Lake loop ride, and the Bike Day. These activities aim to attract both domestic and international cyclists, encouraging them to explore the beauty of the Sun Moon Lake area through a leisurely cycling experience.

FORMOSA 900

This 9-day, 8-night cycling tour around Taiwan covers approximately 900 kilometers, offering participants an immersive experience into Taiwan’s diverse local cultures and landscapes. Along the journey, cyclists can enjoy local delicacies and specialty souvenirs as part of their refreshments and shopping stops. Beyond the adventure, the tour also serves as a platform to promote a bicycle-friendly environment, advocating for safe and enjoyable cycling routes throughout Taiwan, while showcasing the beauty of cycling tourism.
