This is a bicycle route located in the great Xinying area of Tainan. The route is located in Jingliao in the Houbi district. Jingliao was named after the dyeing and weaving industry that was strong here in the past, and the residents built the hut to engage in production. It is also a must-stop station for travel from Tainan to Chiayi. After the colonial government opened up Chianan Irrigation Channel during the Japanese colonial period, it benefited from the stable irrigation water source and fertile soil. Every summer and late autumn during the rice harvest period, the land is golden and it proves to be a warm scene in travelers' journeys. The Baihe District, located on the side of the mountain, is not far behind. When the kapoks in Linchupi Kapok Road are in full bloom from March to April, it is a favorite area for cycling travelers. Even in midsummer, Baihe is the season of lotus flowers from June to August. The Yufeng Green Tunnel and Bamboo Gate Green Tunnel next to the lotus fields proves to be a colorful route in Tainan great Xinying area. In addition, there is also the Xiaonanhai Scenic Area of the Putuo Temple in this area, which is dedicated to the Guanyin Bodhisattva of Nanhai. You can walk on the Xiaonanhai Suspension Bridge and feel the greenness of this pond that is used for crop irrigation. This tour can start from Xinying Station. First, go to Jingliao to visit the old street, and then transfer to Baihe District to enjoy the Linchupi Kapok Road and the nearby green tunnel.
