The abundant water supply of Hualien Creek comes from the Central Mountains. When entering the sea, it shocks the Pacific Ocean to form a swaying wave. Therefore, Hualien is called Huilan in ancient times.   1. Pay attention to the fast traffic on the Suao-Hualien Highway on the return trip to Chongde gravel beach.
  2. There are many weekend & holiday tourists on the Qixing Lake (Qixingtan) coast, so special attention must be paid to the safety of cycling and meeting cars.
  3. To visit Chi-An Chinghisu Temple, you need to buy a ticket, and bicycles are not allowed to enter. It is recommended to bring a lock to lock the bicycle in the parking lot before entering the park.
  4. If you want to go there by car, you can bring your bicycle to the parking lot in front of Xincheng (Taroko) Station. For the return journey, you can use the bicycle-friendly train or ride directly back to the parking lot in front of Xincheng (Taroko) Station to end the journey.
