The Zhuofu Highway from Changliangli, Yuli Town, Hualien County to Xuetian Village, Fuli Township, about 20.5 kilometers, is an industrial road located on the central mountain range of Huadong Longmen Valley. There is no bustling traffic on the Taiwan 9 line. The beautiful rice fields and rice fields in the longitudinal valley along the way can also connect the unique Bunong tribes. Therefore, it is a deep tourism route that can be close to rice fields and deep into the tribe.

Precautions

Departure: Take your bicycle on the bicycle-friendly train, or pack it in a carrying bag and take the regular train. Depart from Yuli station of the Taiwan Railway for your ride.
Return: Take the bicycle-friendly train at Taiwan Railway Chishang station, or pack the bicycle in a carrying bag and take a regular train to leave to complete the trip.

Precautions

This route is best during May-June and October-November when the rice crops are ripe. However, it is easy to encounter high temperatures in the spring and summer, so it is necessary to take sun protection and it is advisable to start early in the morning.
If you want to visit the indigenous tribes along the way, please abide by the regulations of each tribe for visitors to enter the community.
There are only a few shops in the middle of this route, so be sure to prepare supplies before starting out in Yuli.
If you want to go by car, you can take your bicycle to the parking lot near Yuli station of the Taiwan Railway to depart. On the return trip, take the train back to Yuli station at Chishang station.
