Luye in Taitung is located at the intersection of Beinan Stream and Luye Creek on the south side of Huadong Long Valley. It has obvious river terrace terrain. When you come to the convergence of the two streams, you can see the exposed rock formations after the coastal mountains are eroded. From this, you can understand how the original underground strata was lifted by orogenic movement. It is an excellent outdoor geological classroom. This light trip starts with a route between different platforms in Luye and ends in Guanshan Town on the north side of Luye. Through a bicycle trip, I experience the keenness of the slope and feel the beauty of the valley. In this way, riders can not only climb the Luye High Platform to look forward to farmland, tea gardens and valley rivers; they can also use the Guanshan Huan Town bicycle path to follow Guanshan Dazhen to understand how farmers use the resources of the land to cultivate high-quality Guanshan rice in the fertile fields.
